Overview

SnipBoost ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome extension that provides text expansion functionality. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Data stored locally (never sent to us)

• Your text snippets and shortcuts
• Your extension settings (language, trigger key, etc.)
• Your license key (stored in Chrome's local storage on your device)
• Usage statistics (expansion counts, time saved estimates)

This data never leaves your device. It is stored exclusively in chrome.storage.local and is accessible only to the SnipBoost extension.

Data collected during payment

When you purchase a Pro license, our payment processor LemonSqueezy collects:

• Your name and email address
• Payment information (credit card, PayPal — we never see raw card data)
• Purchase amount and currency

License validation

When you activate or validate a license key, SnipBoost sends a request to the LemonSqueezy API (api.lemonsqueezy.com) containing:

• Your license key
• An anonymous instance identifier
